Here the ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is given to be 2:3

Also, the perimeter if given to  be 80 cm

We have to find the length and breadth

Let the length and breadth be 2x and 3x

So, perimeter = 2 ( length + breadth )

                80 = 2 ( 2x + 3x )

                 40 = 5x

                     x = 8

So, length = 2x

                 = 2 × 8

                  = 16

Breadth = 3x

              = 3 × 8

               = 24

Hence, the length and breadth will be 16 cm and 24 cm

The length is 16 CM and the breadth is 24 CM.

Given: The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is 2:3

Solution :

Let, the length and breadth of the adjacent sides be 2x and 3x respectively.

Also, the perimeter is = 80 CM

Therefore,

2(2x+3x) = 80

or, 10x = 80

or, x= 80÷10

or, x = 8

Thus, the adjacent sides of the parallelogram are 16 CM and 24 CM.
