Given:

  • The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram are 2 : 3.
  • Perimeter of parallelogram is 150 cm.

Need To find:

  • Sides of parallelogram ?

Solution:

Let two adjacent sides of a parallelogram be 2x and 3x.

According to the Question,

  • Perimeter of parallelogram is 150 cm.

As we know that,

Perimeter of Parallelogram = 2 × (sum of adjacent sides)

➜ 2 × (2x + 3x) = 150

➜ (2x + 3x) = 150/2

➜ (2x + 3x) = 75

➜ 5x = 75

➜ x = 75/5

x = 15

Therefore,

  • 2x = 2 × 15 = 30 cm

  • 3x = 3 × 15 = 45 cm

Hence, adjacent sides of parallelogram are 30 cm and 45 cm.
