Answer:

so we know parallelogram has equal sides so let the sides be

3x and 5x

so perimeter = 48

⇒2(3x + 5x)= 48

⇒8x = 24

⇒x = 3

so the sides are 9 cm,15 cm,9 cm,15 cm

Answer:

The ratio of two sides of parallelogram is 3 : 5 and its perimeter is 48 cm.

Let length = l and breadth = b (l >b)

Then b : l = 3: 5

=> b=

5

3l

Perimeter = 2 (l+b) = 48 cm

=> 2(l+

5

3l

)=48

=>

5

8l

=24

=> l = 15 cm

then b = 9 cm

Then sides are 15 cm, 9 cm,15cm, 9 cm
