36 and 60 are Ans
3:5
3x+5x=96
8x=96
x=96/8=12

3x=3(12)=36
5x=5(12)=60

\large {\green {\sf {\underline {\underline{Step-by-step \: Explanation}}}:-}}

Let the two adjacent sides be 3x and 5x.

Perimeter = 2 \: (3x + 5x) = 96 \\ →16x = 96 \\ →x =  \frac{96}{16}  \\ →x = 6

The adjacent sides are (3 × 6) cm = 18 cm and (5 × 6) cm = 30 cm.
