Given :-

  • The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is 3 : 5
  • Perimeter is 64 cm

To Find :-

  • The length of the sides other parallelogram

Solution :-

~Here, we’re given the ratio of two sides of a parallelogram ( adjacent ) and the perimeter of that parallelogram. As we know that opposite sides are equal so we can get variable for all sides and the perimeter is given. We can find the sides by applying the formula.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

According to the given ratio the sides will be –

  • 3x
  • 5x

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

As we know that , opposite sides of parallelogram are equal . Then all sides of parallelogram will be  -

  • 3x
  • 5x
  • 3x
  • 5x

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ATQ ::

\sf \implies 3x + 5x + 3x + 5x = 64\;cm

\sf \implies 16x = 64

\sf \implies x = \dfrac{64}{16}

\sf \implies x = 4

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

\sf \leadsto  3x = 12

\sf \leadsto 5x = 20

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Therefore ,

Sides of the parallelogram are 12 cm , 20 cm , 12 cm and 20 cm
