the ratio of 2 sides are=3:5,

imagine first is x , second y

x/y=3/5

3y=5x

y=5x/3

x+y+x+y=80.........(perimeter is 80)

2x+2y=80..(1)

2x+2×5x/3=80

2x+10x/3=80

12x=80×3

x=240/12=20..(2)

the first side is 20

2x+2y=80

2×20+2y=80

40+2y=80

2y=80-40

2y=40

y=40/2

y=20
