The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is 4:3.If it's perimeter is 56cm, find the lengths of its sides.​

Answer:

Let x be common ratio

Perimeter of parallelogram = 2(b + l)

56 = 2 (3x + 4x)

56 = 6x + 8x

56 = 14 x

56/14 =x

X = 4

Therfore the sides are

3 x 4 = 12cm

And

4 x 4 = 16cm

Verification :

=2(12 + 16)

= 24 + 32

= 56

Hence proved
