Answer:

let common multiple of sides be x m.

3=3x m

5=5x m

Perimeter=48m

Perimeter=2(l+b)

length=5x

breadth=3x

sides=2(3x+5x)=48

2(8x)=48

16x=48

x=48/16

x=3

length=5x=5*3=15 m

breadth=3x=3*3=9 m

Answer:

15m and 9m

Step-by-step explanation:

let the length and breadth of the rectangle be 3x and 5x

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

48 = 2*(3x + 5x )

48 = 2*(8x)

48 = 16x

x = 48/16

= 3

therefore,

l = 5x = 5*3 = 15m

b = 3x = 3*3 = 9m

Hopefully it helps ☺️
