Let the longer side be 5x
And shorter side be 3x
Perimeter of parallelogram= 2(l+b)
48 = 2(5x+3x)
24 = 8x
X= 3
Longer side = 5x
= 5(3)
= 15cm
And shorter side be 3x
Perimeter of parallelogram= 2(l+b)
48 = 2(5x+3x)
24 = 8x
X= 3
Longer side = 5x
= 5(3)
= 15cm

Opposite sides of parallelogram are equal
Let sides be 3x, 3x, 5x, 5x since opp sides are equal
Perimeter = 3x + 3x + 5x + 5x = 16x = 48
x = 3
Longest side is 5x = 5*3 = 15
Hope it helps
