Ratio of zinc and copper = 7:9
Let the ratio be 7x : 9x
Weight of copper = 12.6kg =12600g
=> 9x = 12600g
=> x = 1400g= 1.4kg
=> 7x(Weight of zinc) = 7 * 1.4 kg = 9.8 kg
