Answer:

let the sides be 2x and 3x.

Perimeter of parallelogram = 150

2(2x + 3x) = 150

10x = 150

x = 15

so measure of sides are 2x15 = 30m and 3x15 = 45m.

Given :

  • The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is 2 : 3

  • And it's perimeter is 150m.

To find :

The two sides.

Solution :

Let's assume that the two sides are 2x and 3x.

We know that,

 { \underline{ \boxed{ \sf{perimeter \:of \: a \:  rectangle \: is \to 2(l + b)}}}} \\

Where,

l(length) = 2x

b(breadth) = 3x

And, Perimeter = 150m.

Procedure :

Substituting the given values as follows :

 \sf \implies {perimeter \:of \: a \:  rectangle \: is  =  2(l + b)} \\

\sf \implies \: 150m = 2(2x + 3x) \\

  \sf \implies \: 150m =2(5x) \\

 \sf \implies \: 150m = \: 10x \\

\sf \implies \:  \frac{15 \cancel 0}{1 \cancel 0} m =x \\

 \sf \implies \: x = 15m.

After solving this we get :

x = 15m.

Therefore,

Required answer :

Length of the parallelogram = 2x = 2 × 15

= 30m ans.

And, Breadth of the parallelogram = 3x = 3 × 15

= 45m. ans.
