The ratio of average temperature between Jaipur and Delhi is 9:7 and that between Jaipur and Mumbai is 11:8

TO DETERMINE

The ratio of average temperature between Delhi and Mumbai

EVALUATION

Here it is given that the ratio of average temperature between Jaipur and Delhi is 9:7 and that between Jaipur and Mumbai is 11:8

So the ratios are 9 : 7 & 11 : 8

Now the LCM of 9 , 11 = 99

So Delhi : Jaipur

= 7 : 9

= 77 : 99

Again Jaipur : Mumbai

= 11 : 8

= 99 : 72

Thus Delhi : Jaipur : Mumbai

= 77 : 99 : 72

Hence the required ratio of average temperature between Delhi and Mumbai

= 77 : 72
