A body will cover distances in the ratio of 1:3:5… for equal intervals of time since the start of the free fall.

Anonymous: Assuming constant acceleration, Galileo’s Law of Odd Numbers can be applied in this example. Its states that ‘ A body will cover distances in the ratio of 1:3:5… for equal intervals of time since the start of the free fall.’

So we can say that the body will travel distances in the ratio of 1:3:5 in the 1st,2nd and 3rd seconds. or simply the Ratio of distance traveled in first second to that traveled in the 3rd second will be 1:5.
