To Find :
The face from which the incident ray emerges
Solution :
- The incident angle of the ray is 90°, so the incident ray will not deviate while crossing the face AB of the prism
- The ray after passing through the face AB will fall on the face AC making an incidence angle 30°
- Refraction occurs at the face AC from denser to rarer medium, so by using snell’s law
The refracted angle is less than 90° so ray passes through the face AC
