because in dilute hydrochloric acid the h + ion is lesser than the concentrated hydrochloric acid so the reaction between zinc and dil hydrochloric acid is slower than concentrated hydrochloric acid

h+ ion is a factor that determines the power of an acid

shivam959: i want to tell the definition of an acid :- the substance which gives a good concentration of H+ ions in its solution . this is the basic definition given by Arrhenius there are 3 more definitions of acid
