Answer:

The given reaction is:

a. The ionic reaction is as follows:

Zn (S) + 2H+ (aq)  + SO4-2(aq) --> H2 (G)  +  Zn+2(aq) +  SO4-2(aq)   [ SO4  WILL GET CANCEL ]

       =     Zn (S) + 2H+ (aq)  --> H2 (G)  +  Zn+2(aq

b. Yes it can be written in terms of two half reactions where the Cl ions are omitted and only the ions undergoing oxidation and reduction are included. These half reactions are:

Zn2+ + 2 e-

c. This reaction is a redox reaction as oxidation and reduction are taking place simultaneously. While zinc gets oxidised, hydrogen sulphate gets reduced.
