♠Zn (S) + 2H+ (aq)  + SO4-2(aq) --> H2 (G)  +  Zn​+2(aq)​ +  SO4-2(aq)​  
♠ [ SO4  WILL GET CANCEL ]        =     Zn (S) + 2H+ (aq)  --> H2 (G)  +  Zn​+2(aq)​ Oxidation:Zn ♦ Zn2+ + 2 e-​Reduction:2 H+ + 2 e- H2Both oxidation and reduction are taking place that's why it is redox reaction ....
