The reaction is given below

                                  O                         O MgI                                 OH

                                  ║                          I                                              I

    C2H5MgI + CH3-C - H  → C2H5 - CH - CH3 + H +  →   C2H5 - CH - CH3

By the reaction we can see that when ethyl magnesium iodide reacts with the acetaldehyde give 2-Butanol magnesium Iodide then again after the acidification reaction it will the product 2-butanol.

so we can say that option A is right .
