The reading of a spring balance for same mass is not the same every where.why?

Answer:

Both the balances will not give same reading on the Moon. ... but spring balance measures the weight of the body which becomes less on the surface of the moon as compared to that on the earth. hence the reading of spring balance on the moon will be less that on the earth.
