The reason y jupiter isent the last planet in orbit around the sun is because the gravity of jupiter also creats a large amount of centrifugal forced between saturn, uranus and neptune, and also between earth, mars and venus. since its movin away from both sides the suns centripetal force between sun and jupiter and jupiters centrifugal force makes jupiter orbit around the sun between the orbits of the other planets.
