The reciprocal of a rational number equals 4 times the reciprocal of -2/3 . Find the rational number.

Hey


let the reciprocal of rational number be x .


Now ,


it's reciprocal =


4 times the reciprocal of -2 / 3


= 4 * ( -3 ) / 2


= -12 / 2


= -6

Now ,

the rational number is


1 / -6

= - 1 / 6
