⇒  Area of rectangle ABCD=l×b=60×28=1680m2

radius(r)=2BC​=228​=14m

⇒  Area of semicircle =2πr2​=7×222×(14)2​=308m2

∴   Area of the plot = Area of rectangle ABCD + Area of a semicircle.

∴  Area of the plot =1680m2+308m2=1988m2
