then according to the condition
x=2y-5
as the perimeter of rectangle is 2( l+b )
then 2( x+y )
then 2( x-5 + y+2 )=74
from first condition
2( 2y-5-5 + y+2 )=74
2( 3y-8 )=74
3y-8=74/2
3y-8=37
3y=45
y=15
and
x=25
