The rectangular floor of a classroom is 36 feet in length and 32 feet in width a scale drawing of the floor has a length of 9 inches. What is the area in square inches of the floor in the scale drewing

length of floor in feets = 36

breath of flooring feets = 32

in drawing painting the length = 9 inch
and let breath = x inch

and we can say the ratio of sides in feet is equal to the ratio of sides in inches in scale drawing-- so ,

36:32 = 9:x
so, we can say ,x = 8

so , now the area of scale painting =
9×8 = 72 inches ² ANSWER..
