area of rectangular lawn = l×b
=18×14
=252m^2

area of square = 2.5×2.5
=6.25m^2

so, area of lawn is covered with grass = 252-6.25 =245.75m^2

The answer is given below :

Area of the rectangular lawn

= length × width

= 18 × 14 m²

= 252 m²

and

area of the square flower bed

= side²

= 2.5² m²

= 6.25 m²

Therefore, the area of the grass covered lawn is

= Area if the lawn - Area of the flower bed

= (252 - 6.25) m²

= 245.75 m²
