The rectangular plot of land’s length is 8m longer than the width. Find the actual size of the length if the area of the land is 148-meter cube?

first...area cannot be cube...it should be square

let the width=x

length will be x+8

ATQ

area of rectangle=length×breadth

148=x+8 × x

148/x=x+8

148-8/x=x

140/x=x

140=x^2

x=√140

x=11.8
