That is Cu. Copper.

Reaction:
CuSO4 + Fe----------->FeSO4 + Cu

The substance occurring on the iron nail when it is kept in copper sulfate solution is copper.

That because more reactive elements when they are mixed up in a solution will eventually displace the less reactive element from the mixture.

Therefore, the copper is formed on the result.

Hence, b is the right answer.
