speed of light in water[w(v)]/speed if light in kerosene[k(v)]
=1•33/1•44

I believe in this Sam answer but the answer in guides are 1.082 because they are doing 1.44/1.33 , why are the doing it that what? If you checkout previous questions or even textbook , you will find that whenevr they say with respect to medium 1 or 2 ,they always write that medium 1st and then it's ÷ by second medium , I hope you understand what's am saying , can you please give me an explanation?
