The refractive index of water is 4/3 and half glass is 3/2 .what is the refractive index of glass with respect to Air.

refractive index of glass with respect to air =

$\frac{refractive \: index \: of \: glass}{ref \: index \: of \: air\: }$

=

$\frac{ \frac{4}{3} }{ \frac{3}{2} } = \frac{8}{9}$
