The speed of light is more in medium A because it has less refractive index.

Explanation:

Given that,

Refractive index of medium A, n_A=1.33

Refractive index of medium B, n_B=1.47

The relation between the refractive index the speed of light in a medium is given by :

n=\dfrac{c}{v}

c is the speed of light

Velocity of light in medium A,

v_A=\dfrac{c}{n_A}

v_A=\dfrac{3\times 10^8}{1.33}

v_A=2.25\times 10^8\ m/s

Velocity of light in medium B,

v_B=\dfrac{c}{n_B}

v_B=\dfrac{3\times 10^8}{1.47}

v_B=2.04\times 10^8\ m/s

The speed of light is more in medium A because it has less refractive index. Hence, this is the required solution.
