Because 6 months of a year it experiences only day and 6 months only night

As the location of the Arctic is staying at the poles, the earth's axis causes a serious effect on them. Earth axis affects the total mass of sunlight radiation which artic gets normally. Because of this effect, 6 months sunlight comes out and for next 6 months no sun at all 24*7.
