The relationship of man and environment is bi directional. Where "Bi" means "two way" I.e mans relationship with the environment is a two way relationship.

This statement rightly explains human's relationship with the environment as Bi-directional this relationship is based on give and take principle.

Which simply means that when humans are taking advantage from the environment, it becomes human's responsibility to take care of the environment in return. As the environment is serving humans for a long time now it becomes human's responsibility to return all of its dues and if that's not done then the environment will stop serving the humans.

Hence from the above discussion we can conclude that human-environment relationship is a Bi-directional.
