the relative density of a gas A with respect to another gas B is 2. The vapour density of gas B is 20. Find the vapour density of gas A.

relative density of a gas A with respect to another gas B =2

relative density =density of gas A /density of gas B.

density of gas A/20=2

Density of gas A =2×20=40
