Relative density = Density of substance / Density of water
Density of Silver = 10.8 × Density of water
In SI units density of water = 10^3 kg/m^3
∴ Density of Silver = 10.8 × 10^3 kg/m^3 = 10800 kg/m^3
In CGS units density of water = 1 g/cm^3
∴ Density of Silver = 10.8 × 1 g/cm^3 = 10.8 g/cm^3
Density of Silver = 10.8 × Density of water
In SI units density of water = 10^3 kg/m^3
∴ Density of Silver = 10.8 × 10^3 kg/m^3 = 10800 kg/m^3
In CGS units density of water = 1 g/cm^3
∴ Density of Silver = 10.8 × 1 g/cm^3 = 10.8 g/cm^3
