Hii dear,

# Answer - 21.6 mm of Hg

# Explaination-

Relative humidity is given by formula

Relative humidity = water vapor pressure / saturation vapor pressure

In our problem,

water vapor pressure = partial pressure of water in air = P

saturation vapor pressure = aqueous tension

Hence,

Relative humidity = P / aqueous tension

P = Relative humidity × aqueous tension

P = 80% × 27

P = 21.6 mm of Hg

Partial vapor pressure of water in air is 21.6 mm Hg.

Hope that is helpful..

Answer is 21.6mm

%h=partial pressure of water in air/aqueous tension *100

By substituting the values

80=partial pressure /27*100

Then Partial pressure =21.6mm
