Answer:The density of ozone is 24.65.

Explanation:

Density of chlorine gas = d_{Cl_2} = 35.5

Density of ozone = d_{O_3}

According to Graham's law of diffusion:

\frac{R_{O_3}}{R_{Cl_2}}=\sqrt{\frac{M_{Cl_2}}{M_{O_3}}}

Since ,mass is directly proportional to density. So, we can write above expression in terms of densities as:

\frac{R_{O_3}}{R_{Cl_2}}=\sqrt{\frac{d_{Cl_2}}{d_{O_3}}}

\frac{6}{5}=\sqrt{\frac{35.5}{d_{O_3}}}

d_{O_3}=\frac{35.5\times 25}{36}=24.65

The density of ozone is 24.65.
