a+b=10m/s. ( Given )
a=40m/s. ,. b=? ( Given )
According to the question,
40m/s +b = 10m/s

Answer:

The answer is 30m/s

Explanation:

If the objects are  moving in the same direction , then relative velocity of A w.r.t B is Va + Vb

Va = 40m/s

Va + Vb = 10m/s

Now , Vb = ?

40 + x = 10

x = 40 - 10

x =30m/s
