The remainder when f(x) = (x4 – x3 + 2x - 3) g(x)
is divided by x - 3, given that x - 3 is a factor
of g(x) + 3, where g(x) is a polynomial is

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x)=x-3=0

           x=3

By the remainder theorem,remainder will be,p(3)

f(x)=x^4-x^3-x^3+2x-3

p(3)=(3)^4-(3)^3+2*3-3

     =81-27+6-3

     =87-30

     =57

therefore,g(x) is not a factor of f(x).
