AnswEr:-

Your Answer Is 64.

ExplanaTion:-

Here,

We can find out Remainder by 2 methods:-

  • Long Division Method

  • Remainder Theorem.

1. Long Division Method:-

[See The ATTACHMENT].

Remainder Theorem:-

Since we have to divide 3x⁴ - x³ + 2x² - 2x - 4 by x + 2.

So,

\tt\mapsto x + 2 = 0.

\tt\mapsto \large\red{\boxed{\blue{\bf x =  - 2.}}}

So Lets put the value of x in the given polynomial:-

\bf\longrightarrow3 {x}^{4}  - 7 {x}^{2}  + 16x - 34.

 \tt = 3( - 2) {}^{4}  - ( - 2) {}^{3}  + 2( - 2) {}^{2}  - 2( - 2) - 4.

 \tt = 3(16) - ( - 8) + 2(4) - 2( -2) - 4 .

 \tt = 48 + 8 + 8 + 4 - 4.

 \tt = 48 + 16.

\large  \blue{\boxed{\red{\bf= 64 = Remainder.}}}

Therefore The Remainder is 64.
