I think it is nice because it was only CBSE in which we had to study half portion for our final examinations even.....But when we appear for any competitive examination they ask questions based on whole syllabus.
So if students now only i.e from their school life prepare themselves for whole syllabus it would be much easier afterwards...., in their later life..
