Answer

The Fixed rent is ₹1000 for the Trip.

  • For First Trip, 10 Passengers = ₹2200
  • For another Trip, 20 Passengers = ₹3400

Let the Fixed rent be x and Partly varying rent according to passengers be y as well.

For the First Condition,

x + 10y = 2200 [1]

For Second condition,

x + 20y = 3400 [2]

After Calculating [1] and [2] Equation, we got that y = ₹120 as Per passengers.

For Fixed rent as,

→ x + 10y = 2200

→ x + 10 × 120 = 2200

→ x + 1200 = 2200

→ x = 2200 - 1200

x = ₹1000

Hence, The Fixed rent will be ₹1000.
