Plants the pollination is followed by fertilization.

inside the ovules the pollen tube releases two male gamets into the embryo sac. The embryo sac of the ovule contains the egg. One male gamete fuses with the egg and this fusion is called syngamy. While the other male gamete fuses with the polar nuclei and this process is called as triple fusion. this mechanism of to fusion occurring in the same embryo sac is called double fertilization.after fertilization The zygote divides several times to form an embryo within the ovule. The overall development of code and is gradually converted into the seed.the ovary grows rapidly and ripens to form a fruit. Meanwhile the petals sepal stamin styles and stigma measurable and fall of.

Note: ( After fertilization the ovary develops into the fruit and ovule develops into the seed..)
