the resistance of 1 M long nichrome wire is 6 ohms. if we reduce the length of the wire to 70 cm what will its resistance be?

resistivity of nichrome is 100×10^-6
resistance=6ohm
length=100cm

ok then another method is

x be the new resistance

100:6::70:x

x=420/100
x=4.2 ohm
