Answer:

4.2ohm

Explanation:

since, resistance is directly proportional to length of wire therefore,

1m=6ohm

100cm=6ohm

1cm=6/100ohm=0.06ohm

70cm=(70×0.06)=4.2ohm

Answer:

Data : L1 = 1m, R1 = 6Ω, L2 = 70cm = 0.7m,

R2 =?

In the usual notation,

R = p L

__

A

= R1 = p L1 L2

___ and R2 = p____

A A

= R2 L2 0.7

___ =___ = ___ = 0.7

R1 L1 1

= R2 = 0.7 R1 = 0.7 × 6Ω = 4.2Ω
