the resistance of a conducting wire of x length is 5 ohm calculate the resistance of the wire made by the same material whose length is 4 times and area of cross section is five times the wire x​

Since the material is same .... therefore.... resistivity will be same....

...and ... R directly proportional to l/A

...( I will not consider resistivity here....)

In case 1

R=l/A

5 = l/A

In case 2..…......l' = 4l

A' = 5A

Therefore

...R' = l'/A'

R' = (4l)/(5A)

R' = 0.8(l/A)

R' = 0.8R.

.....R' = 0.8*5

Therefore....R' = 4 ohm
