hence, resistance of conductor is directly proportional to its length.

so, if a conductor of length L is cut into three pieces then, resistance of each piece of conductor will be 27/3 ohm = 9 ohm

now, all these three resistors are connected in parallel combination.

then, 1/Req = 1/9 + 1/9 + 1/9 = 3/9 = 1/3

so, Req = 3 ohm

hence, equivalent resistance will be 3 ohm
