\boxed{\textbf{\large{Explanation:}}}

◾we have given,

• the resistance of the metal

= 3 ohm

• the length of wire = 1m

• The diameter of wire is = 0.2 m

radius = 1 /2 diameter

radius = 1/2 (0.2 ) = 0.1 m

• Area of wire = π r^2

= (3.14 ) (0.1)^2

= (3.14 )(0.01)

= (3.14 )x10^(-2)

Therefor,

[ resistance (R) =(rho (p) x L(length) ) / A(area) ]

•(p) rho stands for resistivity of material

• resistivity is the property of material

• Dimensions of resistivity are[ M L T^( - 1) A^( - 2 ) ]

we have to find resistivity

(R) = ( (p)x( L ) ) / (A)

(p)(resistivity)

= ( (R) x ( A) ) / L

= ( 3 x ( 3.14 x 10^(-2))) / 1

= 9.42 x 10^(-2 ) ohm meter

◾Therefor, resistivity of the metal is 9.42 x 10^( - 2) ohm meter.
