The resistance of a metal wire depends upon its resistivity, length and area of cross-section.By knowing the value of resistivity of the metal wire, length of the metal wire,and area we can calculate the value of resistance.As we have only length of the metal wire i.e 1meter,we require the value of resistivity and area to calculate it's resistance.
