The resistance of a nichrome wire at 10°c is 10. If its temperature coefficient of is reslstivity of nichrome is 0.001°c find its resistant of the wire at bolling point of water

Ro=10/(1+(0.001x10))

Ro=9.9ohms

now once at 0degree celsius we knew that resistance we can determine the new resistance at any temperature:

Rt=Ro(1+aplhadeltaT)

R(100degree)=9.9(1+(0.001x100))

=10.89ohms
