the resistance of resistor is given by R=pl/a. what will be the effect on the value of R if both length & area of cross section are doubled​

Hi

Since R1=pL1/a1

Now the new L2= 2L1

And a2= 2a1

So R2 =p*2L1/2a1

= R2 = pL1/a1

So no change in resistance occurs if we double the length and area of cross section.....
